Human beings are pack animals. It is good to be a competent individual but you can hack the pack mind and create a mastermind. You are the by product of the people you choose to surround yourself with. Cut and eliminate the BS and surround yourself with the truth and achievers. This goes for your social media!
Never in history has there been a time where you can get as much insight into how world class individuals and organizations actually think and operate as there is today through books and social media. Like anything that has brought progress it is a double edged sword. Anyone and their mom can proclaim to be an expert, speak emphatically and make themselves appear like what they are preaching is the end all be all solution. There is a massive amount of bullshit out there and your ability to perform and achieve will be based on weeding through that bullshit. You have to be able to cut through the noise.
Livefully.net is just one perspective. it is important to synthesize multiple perspectives to see the same thing from different angles along with merging it with your own experience. This will give you a strong handle on the truth and then the ability to wield it to your advantage.
One of the best things you can do to get better at something is just to do it, but you can significantly increase your progress by learning from the experience of those that have mastered what you are trying to achieve. Say you want to master a skill ie: trading. In that case read and listen to 10-50 individuals that have a 15+ year track record of 20%+ gains with no draw downs. CUT everything else out. Start by mastering what you find in common between most of them. Synthesize that into your approach. This single approach will help you cut through the BS.
Does this person have a proven track record of long term achievement in the "skill" or "topic" I want to achieve? If not highly consider disregarding their advice completely. Do you listen to your poor broke grandma for advice on making millions? STOP. Realize that 95% of people are trying to sell you something or talking because they like to feel good about themselves. Did they actually achieve or are they just a pretty, charismatic talking head?
Consider also taking advice from a millionaire that became a billionaire may be less valuable then someone who went from being dirt broke to being a millionaire. Be careful what you consume.
Below is a list of vetted individuals and podcasts that are both entertaining as well as hold a lot of value to helping illuminate the truth and growth.
Take everything with a grain of salt but these are tremendous resources for growing as an individual and rather then try to recreate what others do or specialize in I would rather help to turn you onto these folks!
A lot of what we talk about on Livefully.net is understanding the nature of things in order to be able to use it. Neuroscience provides you insight into the nature of how a human being works. Beyond this Andrew Huberman takes a very vetted and scientific approach (grounded in reality, experiment and feedback) to a number of topics. The rigor of research is incredibly engaging and enlightening to understanding yourself, your nature and those around you.
As a Stanford professor of Neuroscience listening to him provides you a lens unto the world that some have to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to hear. Yet you can hear it for free. I highly recommend and thank him for his work and contribution in bringing science, scientific thinking and understanding to the masses.

What I would have given at a young age to be a fly on the wall of a board meeting of a slew of hundred+ multimillionaires as they talk about how they look at the world, their investments, modern day developments, etc.
Cut out main stream media and switch to this show instead.
The All-In Podcast will absolutly get you ahead of the crowd allowing you to learn from these incredibly bright and talented individuals. One of the best things you can do is write down every word you don't understand in a separate file and look it up so you start to understand the concepts and follow the conversation. Doing this consistently is better then an MBA.
Especially if you're an entrepreneur or just want to know what is going on in the world.
One day you may be pitching an idea to an executive - listening and learning the vocabulary or vernacular these guys use along with understanding how they think will go a long way in giving you confidence and communicating relevant meaningful value.

Tom is a savage. Came from nothing, built and sold a Billion dollar company. Had multiple multimillion ventures and when you listen to his shows and interviews you can tell it is no accident and due to a well thought out and vetted philosophy on life.
I found myself incredibly in sync with Tom's philosophy and in learning how he thinks and executes is a treasure trove of tidbits you can take to help shape and form your approach to life. Good intention, practically vetted through real world accomplishment of over adversity, rational, practical and logically based arguments.
In essence he believes that we are all average human beings. But an average human being is the biproduct of billions of years of evolution and that means we are adaptation machines. He views near everything as being a skill you can develop and through this frame was able to evolve himself into a force to be reckoned with. Ton of value here.

Joe is the OG. He needs no introduction. You can see the evolution of his thinking as he grew older and interviewed more people. The best part about Joe is that he has tapped the masses and through his own selfish interests and passions funneled tons of awareness to the world about so many topics that others may not have seen the light of day. He helped make intellectual things cool and interesting for a lot of people and in doing so I believe has brought more good to this world then most people ever in history, Go Joe, we love you.
There is a ton to learn from Joe from discipline, consistency, learning how to challenge people and stand up for what you believe in in a non-confrontational way, public speaking, developing yourself as a comedian/artist/performer, even how to socially interact if you don't have a lot of experience under your belt - all along with being introduced to a slew of very debatable topics and that's good. Take everything with a skeptical mind but a great place for inspiration.

One of my absolute favorites. Part of life is about appreciating the wonder of it. When wonder over laps reality (aka real world aka outer world) you get physics and Brian Cox.
Brian has a beautiful way of thinking, describing and contextualizing the size and shape of the world around us. The best part is it's all grounded in physics - the very study of the nature of the universe. His stuff will amaze and blow your mind and I couldn't be more grateful to have individuals like him help to bring cutting edge understanding of the world to the masses in an interesting and entertaining way. Thank you Brian!

Another man that needs no introduction. Grateful to have Neil be out there to communicate science and scientifically grounded critical thinking, discoveries into the main stream.
It is tremendous to listen to him blow your mind but even more so subtly to learn and reinforce critical thinking skills by how he structures his perspectives of the world, arguments, POVs etc.
Neil attended the Bronx School of Science the direct competitor to my Highschool Stuyvesant in NYC. I thought we had them until he conveniently pointed out they had 8 noble laureates and we only had 4! Still more then most colleges and countries!
Neil thank you for your contribution to this world!
